The key priority for the Visitor centre is to provide an enhanced visitor experience and a welcoming point of arrival. The Visitor Centre will be reorganised to create a welcoming new entrance, on axis with the walk to the Windmill itself. New exhibition space will be supported by a craft shop, working space, community meeting space, and café along with the existing model railway.
The proposed alterations and extensions to the existing Blennerville Windmill Visitor Centre will make the centre an active, welcoming, and vibrant focal point for Blennerville. Our first principle is to re-use and adapt as much of the existing building fabric as possible, while providing a huge range of new facilities.
